The lesson

Jambo, everyone! Let's all say it together: 'I love Allah!' Good job! At these points. Loving Allah means we obey Him and we are kind to others. For example, when you help your mama at home or share your snacks with a friend, you are showing love for Allah. When we love Allah, we feel happy and safe inside. Today, we will learn about a special Hadith — that is a teaching from the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him — about people whom Allah loves very much. Let's find out who they are! Remember, our big idea today is: Loving Allah makes us good and happy.

Jambo, everyone! He told us about seven types of people who will get a special shade on the Day of Judgment. The Prophet said that among those seven are two people who love each other only for Allah's sake. That means they are friends because they both believe in Allah and want to please Him. These two people love each other for Allah's sake. Not because of money or looks, but because they share faith. They meet and part only for Allah's love. When they come together, they talk about good things. When they leave, they still care about each other in a good way. This is true love for Allah. It is a special kind of friendship. In Kenya, we can show this love by being good friends who remind each other to pray and be kind. For example, you can remind your friend to read Quran or help a neighbor. Remember, the best friends are those who love each other because of Allah. They help each other do good things. To be such friends!

Jambo, everyone! A dua is like a prayer where we talk to Allah and ask Him for something good. Let's all put our hands together like this and say: 'O Allah, help us love You and love those who love You.' Can you repeat after me? 'O Allah, help us love You and love those who love You.' Very good! When we love Allah and love good people, Allah will love us too. On the Day of Judgment, He will give us shade under His throne — just like sitting under a big tree on a hot sunny day. You did a wonderful job! Remember, everything we learned about helping others, being kind, and loving Allah — share it with your friends, your brother, your sister, or even your neighbor. When you share Allah's love, you make the world a happier place. Allah loves kind children! Asanteni sana — thank you all very much. See you next time!

Let's wrap up with the summary of our lesson: 'Love for Allah in Our Lives.' Here is what we learned today! Let me remind you. First, we show love for Allah by being kind and helping others. For example, you can help your friend carry their books or share your chapatis at break time. Also, stay friends for Allah — that means being friends because you both love Allah. Second, the Hadith teaches us that if we love each other for Allah, Allah will give us His shade on the Day of Judgment. That means Allah will protect us. Isn't that wonderful? Be like Aisha, Ahmed, and Halima — they show love for Allah by being good to others. You can do the same. Done, everyone! You have learned how to show love for Allah in your daily life. Jambo, and may Allah bless you. See you next time!

Worked examples

Aisha and Fatima

A special story. It's about two best friends, Aisha and Fatima. Aisha and Fatima are best friends at school in Nairobi. They help each other with homework and share snacks like mandazi. When Fatima is sad, Aisha comforts her and says, 'Let's pray to Allah.' They are friends because they both love Allah. This is called loving someone for Allah's sake. At this picture. They are happy and kind to each other. Here is another picture. They always help each other. That's how you show love for Allah's sake. Remember: When you love your friend because they love Allah, that's the best kind of friendship.

Helping a Neighbour

Jambo, everyone! Our second story — a worked example of helping a neighbour. This is about a boy named Ahmed and Mama Njeri. This handshake emoji here reminds us that helping others is all about friendship and care. Watch closely as we follow Ahmed's steps. Step one: Ahmed sees Mama Njeri. She is old and struggling with her shopping bags. He notices her need — that's the first thing we learn. We must look around us and see who needs help. Step two: Ahmed doesn't just stand there. He runs to help! He carries the heavy bags and even fetches water for her. What a kind boy. Guess what? We can all do the same — maybe carry a bag for your neighbour or fetch something for your grandmother. Step three — why does Ahmed do all this? He loves Allah, and he wants to please Him. That is the most beautiful reason. When we love Allah, we show it by helping others. It's not about getting a reward from people. It's about making Allah happy. Here is our big reminder: Allah loves those who help others! That means when you help, Allah is proud of you. Remember what we learned earlier — helping others is another way to be shaded on the Day of Judgment. Every time you help, you are earning that shade. How wonderful is that? I want you to think: Have you ever helped someone like Ahmed helped Mama Njeri? Maybe you helped your mum carry something, or you helped a friend pick up their books. Let's talk about that!

Sharing at School

Our third worked example: Sharing at School. In this story, we meet Kevin. He is a student in Mombasa. During break, he realized he forgot his lunch! That is a big problem, isn't it? Then his friend Halima came to help. She shared her chapati and mandazi with Kevin. She said, 'I'm sharing because Allah loves those who share.' This kind act shows that Halima loves Allah. When we share with others, we also show love for Allah. It makes Allah happy. Remember, sharing is a beautiful way to show our love.
